The construction of a 16500 cubic meter warehouse for Chester Medical Solutions

The construction of a pristine warehouse facility to connect their two functioning factories while allowing continuous access through the building site for shipments and deliveries was a challenging task.

We designed and gained planning permission for an independently supported building to link two fully functioning production buildings.

The steel portal frame was erected in 7 days and roofed in 5 days with interlocking insulated steel panels and fire retardant roof lights.

380 cubic meters of concrete was poured over steel reinforcement to form a super-smooth power-floated floor.

A bespoke climate control and air distribution system was installed to ensure a constant and even temperature distribution throughout the 16500 cubic meter space.

High efficacy luminaires were installed as part of a low CO2 emission lighting scheme.

Finally, the erection of high stability adjustable pallet racking providing 4200 sq meters of pallet storage.
